Hi all,

I've spent the last week harvesting some sugarcane trials in North Queensland, which is a nice spot for sunsets. This series of images shows the sun setting over Mt Elliot last Tuesday. I then swung the camera around and captured a beautiful full moon rise in the east. All images taken with my K100D and 70-300mm telephoto.

Oh double beautiful!
Skipping from one shot to the other feels like I'm witnessing the sunset myself.
And then a full moon rise! Fantastic capture.:eyepop:

I've made an animation with the sunset series, which I'll try and load on to the web soon. It shows the effect that Molly talks about quite nicely.

Here's another image taken early the next morning, showing the full moon setting over canefields.
