Greetings again.
I took this a few days ago before having to head up to Perth to update my Western Power access. Anyway, on my return, I have been continuing on my quest to get a decent beginner's moon image.
Soo.. here it is
I'm only just starting with Photoshop but it's got so many options with layers and all these other things which I am still bumbling along with :confused2:
Would love to hear about any finer tips with processing this image and any problems with it as I am pretty much sticking with Registax at the moment.
This is a stack of 31 pics from 40 taken using the high speed continuous feature of the Canon 40D (20 taken in about 3 seconds).
I also find the 2" aperture mask on my 8"SN much more forgiving for focus and seems to give a better picture - maybe.
Many thanks to Brendan for helping me get my head around turbulence and the need to stack and Chris (Omaroo) for some excellant tips like the aperture mask. This has really given me new life in the old scope.
I hope you like it and thanks for looking :)
