Hi All, about to head off with the family for a few days in the camper trailer (I'm sneaking in a scope) so won't be posting for a bit. Managed to sneak in another half hour of imaging Mars last night while the wife was watching TV and the kids in bed. Seeing could be better, but could be worse too :)

Here's a couple of images from either end of the run. If you look real close and use a lot of imagination (c'mon humour me) you'll spy a lighter coloured pixel or two toward the lower left of the disk that has moved along with the other features between the two images. Looking at my mars map this would correspond to Olympus Mons in which case it's only the second time I've "captured" it - or orographic cloud over it, or sunlight on the slopes, or just plain fantasy take your pic

cheers and Happy New Years ALL

these are great, the jetstream is killing me!!!

make sure you cut and paste into a day by day history and then into a movie as the object rotates

well done rob

Nice work again Robert, we're lucky to even see Mars down here, even when it's clear there's been a fine layer of high altitude cloud obscuring everything.:D

Well done Robert,

You're still managing to pull in the detail.
Excellent work.

Hi Rob

You are da Man - the King of Mars imaging. Another great couple of images. Xmas and New Year activities have kept me indoors and scopeless so far, so it's great to enjoy the work of others!

Cheers

Dennis
