Hi,
I've been checking out EBAY for a few books lately. I've noted things like "Telescope Design" etc, selling for over $250 a pop, which sounds ridiculous to me.
I even checked with the seller, and yep, that's the price, myself thinking it was a misprint.
Is this really what these inprint books cost!
Ciao

Looking for books on Ebay is a waste of time and money....you'll pay through the nose for them.

Not always, pays to keep your eye open! ;)
Just recently I managed to pick up a hard cover copy Deep-Sky Companions: The Messier Objects by Stephen James O'Meara's, Cambridge University Press, for US$14.97 plus US$12.97 from eBay seller phoenixfriends (http://myworld.ebay.com.au/phoenixfriends/) which is the Friends of the Phoenix Public Library.
Locally this sells for AU$85.00
As new condition, couldn't be happier!
Cheers
Chris
its hard to imagine such prices, but even at BookDepository it is still expensive
