Here's an image of M11 or least I'm pretty sure it's M11 it was a long night and this image was taken at the end of it as i slewed through the Scorpius region manually and stopped at this here.
Someone can confirm this if possible, but i am almost sure it is.
Here's the shot for confirmation.

That's a beautiful shot. What were the equipment and exposure details?
Those beautiful blue stars in the cluster look amazing.
Greg.
I like the colours.
It appears to be M11, located in Scutum. You might find: http://www.ngcicproject.org/ useful as a comparison resource for this and future photographs (look up NGC 6705 for M11)
http://seds.org/messier/more/m011_m2.html might also be helpful?

Thanks Greg,
It was taken with a EQ mounted 12" reflector and colour 11002 CCD.
With a very intricate wind barrier:) protecting that massive wind sail, may as well be a spinnaker ready for a seaward journey without a HGM titan or something of that level carrying her, so the barrier becomes integral part of the set-up. Barrier connects to the Car - Tent - Large modified stand.
I think the exposure times were fairly short 120sec x 20 something like that. with equal darks from library used at time of stacking.
There was no bias or flats in this image.

See this (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=54287) thread and Larry's (http://larryo.org/work/information/unimap/index.html) page.
I'd have included your image with overlay but it breaks the 200KB limit, and is hard to read if reduced.

Marc,
Thanks again mate,
Andrew,
That website has made my day, week , month.
I have this crazy notion at the end of each imaging session to slew manually around the sky in a kind of celestial lucky dip and this tool will be like the jigsaw puzzle missing piece to the last shot.
Thanks a googooplex!!
Regards
Shane
