Do you have any part numbers or specs printed on it ?
Are you able to measure the resistance of any of the windings ?
It has that 80's hard disk look about it.
Steve.

Thank you.
The answer to your questions are no and no. The motor was installed on my scope about ten or more years ago.

You had any luck sourcing this yet ?
It looks extremely similar to some I ripped off a photocopier recently. The motor body is identical for sure. Stepping rate (and thus rpm) I thought would be more determined by the driver board.
I'll check out some of my bits downstairs later and get back to you if you like. If I've got one you're welcome to it for postage.

Thanks for your support
A member of Iceinspace is making an attempt to repair my stepper.
Amazing, one can make a search for steppers on the WWW to no avail, yet, here is one that you steered me towards.I will wait to hear from my friend regarding my own stepper.
Thanks
Ken
