Favourite iPad apps?

Hi all

I went shopping for a netbook for my wife and kids to use, and came home with an iPad! :) It's exactly what they need it for - games, browsing the web, videos, music, photos.

What are the best/your favourite iPad apps?
What's it do and how much is it?

At the moment Kindle for iPad, I have read about a dozen books and spent way too much buying more, havent read a paper book in nearly a month!

Its free... but the books ain't!

For work I have
Pages, Keynote, Numbers, Quick Office, SG Project, SG Risk, SG Action, Things, Audionote and a couple of Mindmap apps I am assessing.

For Astronomy I have
VNC, and a plethora of other apps I play with from time to time, but VNC is the main one. I do have a browser app called iCab since Safari will not work with my observatory web server, oh and Papers to manage all my astronomy paper searches, library and paper annotations.
