Hi all,

Well, here's part 3 of the trilogy! This evening I went into the city and photographed the conjunction over South Bank. I took a few shots, and this one looked like a good one to process first. Might post another when I get the chance over the weekend. It's certainly been a nice grouping over the last few nights!

Thanks for looking.

Cheers,
Stephen

Thanks Vincent! The high res version looks much better than the one I posted, so I might try and re-do it tomorrow.

Cheers,
Stephen

Fantastic mate. Good location too. you've got an pretty awesome collection now of these conjunctions. Make a nice triptych.

Thanks Troy! Yes, it was a nice spot for imaging. I had originally thought of the cliff tops where you were on Thursday, but I didn't think I'd be able to fit in the city and planets with my 18-50mm lens. I assume you used something a bit wider than 18mm?

Stephen

I used the 17-40 but it's on a full frame camera. On a crop sensor you'd need 10 or 11mm FL.

Thanks for the info Troy. I didn't realize the full frame makes such a difference! I'll have to start saving!
