Hi all,
Just saw iceman's post of his waterfalls -- nice work, iceman!
I thought I'd post one that I took a couple of weeks back at Wentworth Falls in the Blue Mountains, which incidentally was my first attempt at photographing waterfalls.
My friends and I had to walk down about five waterfalls to get to this one. The walk back was a killer; I had a backpack full of lenses, one hand was holding my camera connected to the tripod and the other hand was negotiating the railings on the way up, and any stray trees or branches.

Andrew,
Cheers for the compliment.
I did have all of my photography up on a site up until recently. The server they were hosted on was decommissioned.
I'm in the process of building a new gallery and finding somewhere to host the images.
I'll post a few more in this forum as a teaser. :)
Regards,
Humayun

Very nice Humayun. Is that in the Valley of the Waters? The walk back is a pain, but scones and cream at the Conservation Hut makes it worthwhile!

Hi Rod,
Yep, that's the one! The Valley of the Waters. I was going to be more specific in my initial post but I completely forgot the name of the place.
You're right, the walk back up is a real pain -- especially if you haven't had food or water. It was terrible. It was actually good exercise by the end of it, it really opens up your lungs.

Very beautiful shot H!
I went and looked at Wentworth Falls just yesterday during my family holiday to the blue mountains, but there was hardly any water flowing so no shots. Got some of Leura Cascades and some others that i'll post in a few days.
Beautiful work.

Hi Mike!
We were lucky that there was a lot of water flowing, particularly as it had been dry. You got to be there at the right time!
Thank you for the compliment.
Look forward to seeing your shots.

If you take the walk down from the end of Falls road about 2/3 of the way there a trail on the right to a lookout. On that day the was a gale blowing (nothing unusual in WF) and the spray was being blown right up to where I was. - hence the rainbow.
Directly opposite is another lookout called Rocket Point.
