Went for a trip to Eungella 80klms west of mackay and got this panorama I had a third picture to add but I had the positioning wrong so this is only two stitched together.

It's a nice part of the world there, Warren. Does get a little cool at this time of year but it'd be a great place to stick a scope up, if it wasn't for the National Park!!!. Greenies wouldn't appreciate having something like that there disturb their leaf litter in the rainforest:):P

Oh there are good places for a scope that are out of the national park in fact our local group intend to head up for a weekend camp to a real good spot about 1Klm up with views to all parts of the sky just got to get the weather right.

Yes it is a great spot this is my first attempt at a panorama and I was using panorama assist on the camera but I am still learning and the camera didn't seem to show for the next shot but I think it was my mistake not the camera.

Ah Eungella! The in -laws run the mango factory at the foot of the road that winds up from the valley to Eungella. And one Sunday I was walking up the hill for a bit of exercise and ran into a chap who cycles up the whole, winding, steep, thigh - burning hill every Sunday then rides out to the dam and then back to Finch Hatton! Takes him all day!:eyepop:

Hi Warren,

Thanks for the nice panorama and the sky looks incredibly clear compared to
the fog and mist we've usually encountered up there.
