SPX350 F9.1 with 2xPowermate, EQ6, Mintron12V6 (same as GStar-Ex), Astrodon filters and Astronomik UHC filter.
Some more quick images, the Minton does 2.5sec exposures but is very sensitive and good with bright objects like small planetary nebs. Imaged 'Little Gem' and centre of the Lagoon as well as M22 a huge globular in Sag which has a planetary nebula in it which cannot be seen as it is too faint and small but the star can which is highlighted.
6818-RGB
Lagoon-UHC RGB
M22-RGB.
Will have to give my ATK-16HR a go soon.

Looking good John with plenty of detail.
How many exposures each?
Just asking because they are a bit noisey (to be expected from 2.5 Sec exposures).

Nice shots, John:)
Martin, the camera doesn't have cooling, so it's subject to a bit more noise than usual. Can be remedied with a bit of ingenuity (to an extent).

Thanks fellas, the Mintron/GStar-Ex is a great cam as it requires no autoguiding but you need to stack an awful lot to get smooth images (1000 for luminance and 300 each for RGB would be better) because its an uncooled 8bit cam. You can wrap an ice gel pack around but a dark frame gets rid of the numerous hot pixels and it has many - I process in Registax5.
6818 - RGB 300 each of 2.5sec.
Lagoon - UHC 500 RGB 100each.
M22 a quick 200 each RGB.
Here are some images I took when I lived in the UK, even though images are quick (about 1 hour for each - 2.5sec subs) and noisy they still show great detail and with UK weather speed is a must.
This CCD will make a great meteor cam with an 8.5mm lens I have, could give Perseids ago but a bit low so perhaps Geminids would be better?
Regards, JohnH.
