Hi all

Two Sundays in a row of viewing and imaging - yeah!
I imaged AR 1092 as it approaches the western limb of the Sun - it seems to have become less active than this time last week.
AR 1093 has been the hero lately with soalr flares being produced over the past few days.
AR 1095 is tiny through the Lunt 60 but worthy of note.

Images via the DMK31 throuht Lunt60 Ha scope with 2.5 Powermate.

Excellent images as usual Mat!

The extra 20mm of aperture seems to make a big difference between what you can achieve with a 2.5x Powermate in the train, and what I can.

Nice images Matt! How much of this would be visible using Baader solar film? I assume the granulation would be difficult to see, but the spots should look nice? I'm considering getting some film for my scope now that the sun is showing some interesting activity again.

Cheers,
Stephen

I think I have the Baader solar film for my C8... the spots are certainly visible, but I can't say that the granulation is from my experience, but I didn't image with it. I have read that one of the solar filters/films does allow the granulation to be seen, but I can't remember which one:shrug:, sorry.
