Lost a heap of subs due to a camera failure, so I'll have to be happy with this - That's until I do it again tomorrow morning;):D I'm not settling for anything less than 1 hour of data:P

6 subs 35 mins total.

Hi John,

First link is the best one for me, really awesome view of an awesome galaxy. The subtle detail in the arms is very good, not overdone at all, great focus, really stunning.

Is it high enough in the sky? I thought November was better for Andromeda but I'm a newb so I can be wrong. When do you recommend imaging Andromeda from the S. Hemisphere?

PS: Your nickname rocks, are you an Asimov fan? I'm claiming to be the biggest fan in the world and I can always take a challenge :) :)

Thanks all. Yeah it's a tough target being so low, along with nasty seeing. Tested my manual guiding out that's for sure! Nothing permanent regarding the camera thank goodness but still a real pain losing manual guided 5 min subs. Anyhow, thems the breaks.

PS - You guys can't be the biggest Asimov fans. I thought he was that good, I named myself after him!

Nice capture John. This one is a bit low and behind the hills for me to catch. You have managed quite a lot of signal considering how short the exposure was and will no doubt benifit from more data being added.
Well done.
