Jupiter August 1st

Hello all.

Seeing was very good that morning so I captured this image of Jupiter. Used only R and G Baader CCD filters. Blue channel I synthetised.

Very nice image Roman. Any particular reason you didn't capture Blue? The synthesised Blue does make for a peculiar colour balance.

Yes, Jupiter is very hard for me. QHY5 is noisy and not very fast, so I need to stact many frames. Cause of this I have time only for two channels :(.
