I have an enquiry relating to the York Skyrover N114 I have - is it possible to use this telescope for terrestrial as well as celestial observation? Is there some sort of separate eyepiece available to be able to swap from one to the other?

Thank you

No.
I was just trying to check exactly what kind of telescope it was, but can't see...I'm guessing from the 114 appellation its a long barreled 4" Newtonian reflector, and that's why I said no above. If you had a refractor, then it might be possible to get the eyepiece you're looking for, but not for newtonians.

Some smart-alecs will probably come along and say something like "of course you can, if you're prepared to stand on your head..."

... so its a newtonian? you could be after one of these:

Vixen erect image adapter
Designed to fit a 1.25" focuser this straight through adapter will re-invert and flip the image so it will appear fully corrected. You will see images with the right side up and read right correct. A must have for those terrestrial viewers.
