Hello

Just processed an avi of Rupes Recta (Straight Wall) captured at 03:35am AEST 24th Dec 2005. :zzz2:

I noticed a very faint linear feature running parallel to the Wall, especially in the central part of the fault, just a hair's width in front of the fault. I recall that Zac Pujic took a higher resolution image with his 12" 'scope, which also shows this "new" feature.

89 frames stacked from 2100.

Equipment details:
Celestron C9.25
TeleVue x2.5 PowerMate
Philips ToUcam
Takahashi EM200 mount
JMI NGFS motofocus

Imaging details:
Acquired with K3CCDTools
1/25 sec
10fps
Registax3

Merry Xmas to all our readers! :)

Cheers

Dennis

Another Beauty Dennis! This run of good seeing will have to end soon or you're going to collapse from exhaustion - I'm pretty knackered myself, but after a couple of months of absolutely awful conditions it's hard not to take advantage of every moment :)

cheers,
