Black dot

When i last removed the mirror from my GSO I put a black dot in the centre of the primary with a nikko pen (stupid). I now want to remove the dot. Oh wonderous guru's How? I havent tried yet as I dont want to damage the mirror. I have soft soap, distiled water and some 100%(?) isopropol ready to go.
i thought if i wash the mirror in soap and distilled water and then the isopropol just on the black dot and then rinse thouroughly with distilled water. Would that do the trick?

a little metho on an old old (clean) tshirt will shift it Adrian.

Thanks I was a bit concerned that if I use the wrong stuff on the mirror I would damage it.
