I have an Orion Starshoot Autoguider on the way and want to get an adapter made up for Canon FD so I can use an old camera lens for a guidescope.
I need some info on distances from the Nosepiece and T thread to the sensor.

Hi Phil
I have the original Orion Deep Sky Star Shooter, the Mk I from maybe 7 or 8 years ago. It is a 640x480 colour chip. I suspect you are getting the newer model, but if not, let me know and I’ll have a go at measuring mine, if I can figure out how to do it.
Cheers

Dennis, thanks for the offer, but the Starshoot Autoguider is 1280x1024 and monochrome, totally different animal, so it's not worth the worry trying to measure it, .
I was hoping to Get Steven at Mogg Adapters to build an adapter for me before I leave for Astrofest at the end of next week.
The measurements aren't too big a deal, if I can't get them, I'll have a crack at building an adapter myself.
I have an old FD macro rail I can rat a bayonet off to attach to the lens, I have the lens and I hope to have the Starshoot by early next week..
