I think I am starting to get the hang of the lens. All shots hand held.

Fun fun fun!

I told the spider to behave itself and stay still or I would put it in the freezer! It complied and after our session I gently let it outside. I shot it on a peice of white A4 paper curled up the back of the kitchen bench. I used unsoftened light from an MT-24 EX Twin lite Macro flash stopped down to 1/4 power. Shot hand held. 1/80 second f22 at ISO 100. Soon I will build a diffuser for them and see how that goes.

The flowers were done in the afternoon natural light coming sideways in through the window.

C&C much appreciated!

Baz.

Good stuff, Baz. Just set the lens to f/11 for a while and leave it there for macro. Definitely need to diffuse that twinlight, too.

Love the photos Baz,

Just one request.....can you please stop taking such clear and close pictures of spiders? yeah, yeah, I know I am a big girl, but a macro of an ugly spider is impressive, but icky.

Eeeek,, don't like them very much....glad he/she knew who was the boss....

Cheers ;)

The last one I put in the freezer came out very respectful. Asked me what the chicken did.....
