Mt Gambier Area - Gathering

Hello all,

As there are many closet astronomy people who dare not share their interest of things above with work colleges, friends, partners without the fear of confused looks, I thought I would put out the invitation to people around the Mount Gambier area (Or visitors passing by who may be passing..) to come out to our property 10km south of Mount Gambier (OB flat) some time in the future for a gathering.
Let me know if your keen and we can sort out a time or regular date to have warm toast and tea whilst having a chat to share ideas..

Update to the information already given..

I will plan a date on the 7th August (Saturday ) from 5pm onwards. You are invited have a look around to 'see the lay of the land' so to speak before set-up.

We have an outdoor studio that is powered and children/partners can spend time in there if they wish - It has a stereo/TV etc. Tea / coffee is provided (and a microwave if you want to heat up some of your own food that you wish to bring along)

Oh yes - 240v power is available outdoors (if emergency charging is required)

The plan is to go and set-up just before at last light and enjoy the evening - if the clouds dont make an last minute show..I promise that I will mow the lawns beforehand so your socks will not be soaked by 7pm walking around.
