OK, the time has come. It all has to go.

The remnants of my Bintel BT-302 which is a GSO 12" dobsonian reflector.

Everything there! Except:-

The base
The primary mirror
The secondary mirror and mirror holder
The trunions
The finderscope
Eyepieces
etc. etc.

(Repeating - the above are not in the package :sadeyes: )

OK, so not that much left! But what is left may be just what you need for your project!

In summary there is :thumbsup: :-

* A 12" f5 tube - no rust problem - with internal baffle added just above primary mirror (to direct air flow) and Televue sticker and IIS sticker!
* Dustcap
* A fitted 10:1 Crayford focusser
* A spider (philips head screws for adjusting secondary tilt (I have appropriated the Bob's knobs into a different scope)
* Flocking all around the upper tube, including a light shield that is kept in the tube on velcro, but can be pulled out and reoriented to fulfill its function.
* The primary mirror cell fitted with Bob's knobs and stronger springs
* A high quality fan mounted on a neoprene membrane which isolates any vibration and also forces all airflow around the mirror and up the tube.
* Various packing material to fit around or support the tube on transport.

$200 Pickup only in Melbourne. Either from Bundoora during the day (you need to be able to transport the big 12" f5 tube), or I could drop off early evening close to my route (Bundoora to Bacchus Marsh, around Ring Road and out the Western Highway.)

At the moment, I want to sell the lot together. If that doesn't work, I'll split the lot into parts and try again. But I will price the parts accordingly, so you get the bargain buy now for the job lot.

PM me please.

No one? :sadeyes:

OK, 24 more hours at this price for the lot.

After that I divide it all up into separate lots and it'll cost ya more - like building a Holden from the spare parts list!

And that 12" tube may end up crushed in the metal recyclers - surely no-one wants that to happen? (Be quiet all you sct and refractor types! :D )

Many thanks for looking.

I'm pleased the tube will find a new home and not have to go to metal recycling!
