Not my best effort, but I felt the need to post a picture. Terrible seeing the last couple of days. Shot 3 gig of assorted targets last night but they ended up in the recycle bin after rough stacking.

This venus is 59 frames out of 1200....That should tell you something about the seeing here at present. :sad:

That is a good one in regard to terrible seeing. You have done much better than me as I don't shoot anyone even.

Thanks LT. It's interesting to note not many good frames are needed to get a reasonable image of Venus, I assume from it's lack of surface details.

I really like that one. It's getting quite low on the horizon so the seeing is not going to get any better. We'll have to wait until it pops up in the morning sky, the ground will be much cooler then.
