British made Astro Engineering (Broadhurst, Clarkson & Fuller) 2" Herschel Wedge, with variable 2" polarising filter. Can also be used with 1-1/4" fittings. The variable polarising filter makes photography possible, using DSLR, film, or webcams type cameras, and of course visual use with eyepieces of your choice.
Must only be used with a refractor telescope, and this will give THE best solar views possible in white light, period. Granulation, plages, and sunspots, in the utmost clarity. The resolution is only limited by your telescope optics.
Solar mylar film simply does not compare, and the film is a complete joke when compared to the views this Herschel wedge provides. Even metalised glass filters still degrade your resolution.
Boxed, in foam lined carry case, little used, and basically as new.
$300 (PayPal or cheque) including registered post within Australia, or you can of course pick up from Penrith, W Sydney. Bring your scope for a demo if the sun is shining!
