In response to an inquiry - no - I am not too concerned about having the original box/packaging.

I am simply after either a Tak LE 5mm or 7.5mm in good 'optical' (i.e. functional) condition. How old the EP might be, whether the outside barrel has the odd paint chip or scratch doesn't bother me.:thanx:

In response to another inquiry - I would certainly consider other focal lengths if someone has one they might like to sell but I am primarily interested in trying to get my hands on a 5mm or 7.5mm and try them for planetary viewing.

I stand corrected on my previous post - I am not actually after either of the Hi-LE's - this is not to suggest the Hi-LE's aren't good EP's but they are probably too much magnification for my scope.

To clarify something from one inquiry - I am after the LE 5mm or LE 7.5 for the ER and hence ortho's aren't an option for me - sorry - but thanks for the suggestion - it is appreciated.

In response to another similar inquiry – Yes – I very much appreciate the suggestion about ortho’s for planetary observing but I need the eye relief hence I am exploring whether anyone has a LE 5mm or LE 7.5mm they may no longer want. If you have either please send me a PM.

Not wanting to discourage you, but I bet most people (myself included) would be very reluctant to part with their Tak-5s or Tak-7.5s.

Have you considered buying new? OPT have the 7.5 at US$40 off, and I believe Claude at AEC has them both for just under $300 each.
