My first (proper) Milky Way Panorama

Taken at Phillip Island with my 500D... A bit of light pollution from the lights at the Surf Club. Pay no attention to my lazy attempt to cover up the cropping in the bottom corner.

Lesson learned... Be prepared to catch your camera when the wind blows the tripod over

Very nice effort Sebastian! How many frames made up your panorama?

Possibly a little too contrast enhanced and black clipped, but a fine effort nonetheless.

Thanks Guys... Its something i've always wanted to do and I finally have the opportunity and the equipment.

I think i took 7 shots at 30 seconds... The mighty Photoshop CS4 did the rest.
