I havn't posted for ages because I upgraded my rig.
This is the first image taken:
10 x 10min with Canon 350d (modded), EQ6 Pro mount, 8 inch Newt with mpcc, guded with ed80 and dsi iii pro (Calibrated darks, flats)
Pretty happy with rig so far...

That looks great Paul! :eyepop: Superb colors and details. Only thing you could improve on is masking the core but otherwise a top shot. Nice work.

Very nice Paul. The background seems to have a bit of a blue cast and as Marc pointed out the core is a little burnt but focus, guiding and framing all look very good.
Well done.

Thanks Marc, DAvid, and Doug.
I have now fixed the core and fixed the colour. I hope you like the repo!
Thanks for the feedback - its the only way to fix these kind of things!

Nice shots, Doc:):)
Really nice one Paul
I don't know if you use the Shadows/Highlights function in Photoshop at all, but applying a bit of the highlights slider can help control blowouts in bright cores sometimes while you're bringing out the faint fuzzy edges....

Wow, That's very nice Paul,
Now I know what to shoot for, HEAPS of details there. Repro looks even better.
My efforts look black and white by comparison.
Nice.
Cheers

Dr. Paul,
Your second post of M8 looks like a yummy squishy fruity sweet thing. I just want to eat it.
Well done. : )

Cheers - Happy with the new Rig! (looking forward to getting another CCD real soon as I sold my DSI III Pro recently :( )
Thanks Rob . I will take that tip and use it next image. I repro the image using a mask (G blurr) to fix the core this time around.
Thanks Chris. It always amazes me how much detail you can capture with a DSLR! Definately long subs are the key (and modded helps a lot)
 Thanks
Luigi, thank you very much. I use "selective Colour" and "Match Colour" in Photoshop to bring out the right tones and contrast.

Felt like the stars needed less saturation and rounding so I tweaked it again!
Hope you like the tweak,,,.....
