This has to be the best Toy Story of the trilogy. These movies are favorites in our household, and like the first two, Toy Story 3 is very well animated (in some scene exceptionally better than the previous two). Toy Story is definately not just for the little 'uns. The cinema was full of adults, both with and without children attached.

A great movie, but be warned, it does get emotional at the end.

We have always been avid cinema goers and spend hours trawling internet movie sites reading and leaving comments regularly, but we found this review from a contributor on IMDB sums up TS3 perfectly. Here is the last paragraph...

"...With Toy Story 3, Pixar has shown us one of the greatest magic tricks in modern showbiz history, likely not to be outdone or duplicated, that we all have very real and deep connections to our childhoods and to the things and people that allowed us as kids to be free, and innocent, and pure, and most importantly, to dream. This, to me, is a life lesson worth remembering, to infinity and beyond."

I put the Toy Story movies up as my greatest trilogies of all time - equalling The original Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and Back to the Future.

Awesome! I can't wait to see this!

Now, if they would do A Bug's Life sequel, that would be great.

Saw it last night. Great movie and quite emotional at the end - a fantastic message that young kids won't really get. Makes you dread they day when my little girls (currently 4 & 2) will eventually move out of home.

I'm not sure that 3D added greatly to the movie. My wife had taken our girls to a 2D screening a week or two a go. She felt the 3D wasn't a great bonus for this movie. Watching a 3D trailer for a dance movie before TS3 was quite disappointing. The high speed dance moves were really jerky in 3D. I don't think the frame rate is high enough (this cinema had LCD glasses, not the circular polarised glasses). The cinemas are obviously spending a fortune on new technology to keep us going to the movies, but I feel it will be a long time before I consider any sort of 3D TV for home.

Bring on INCREDIBLES 2 & 3 I say!

All Toy Story's are great, anything Pixar for that matter. Gold.

Had a sniffle or two in number 3, the wife even teared up....

Cheers

A brilliant Movie!!! We watched it the other day and it is amazing how some animated pixels can make you feel so emotional, part of growing up, something everyone can relate to. My 9 yr old was in tears and my 7 yr old trying his best not to cry.
Also love the Incredibles love to see anotherone of them and also Monsters Inc. They really should do a second Monsters Inc!!!

Cheers Daniel.
