Hi All,

Imaged Saturn very early last night in an attempt to see just how early I could do it. This was 5:57 pm CST.

The storm I have been tracking is not on this side of Saturn but it is in such a position now that with my local constraints regarding my North western horizon ( a rather large palm tree), that I must be able to image it very early in the evening.

Thought the result was reasonable so here it is.

Thanks for looking
Regards
Trevor

Looks like the rings are starting to open up a bit more now.

That they are Michaell, around the time that the rings are close to edge on, due to the geometry of both Saturn and Earth's orbit, the appearance of the rings go through some gymnastics.

The ring opening relative to Earth in degrees.
