Miramar View (milky way landscape)

Hi All,

A view of the Milky Way from the coastal city of Miramar, Argentina.
The rocks at the top are catching light from a nearby lighthouse do I keep them r remove them?

I first did 2 stacks of 5 light frames (5dII,17-40,ISO3200,F4,20'') and 4 darks in DSS.
Then I registered and added the two stacks using Iris (Dss has no Add)
I removed the background pollution using PixInsight LE
I adjusted levels,saturation ,some cropping, some rotation, some noise reduction and some sharpening in PS.

Ground:
Panorama made from 5 shots then size adjusted to match the sky.

I'm not sure (yet) if the idea of adding 2 5 subs stacks is better than a single 10 subs stack in DSS but I need to experiment! :question:

Cast:

From left to right Eta Carina nebula, crux & Coalsack nebula, Alpha & Beta Centauri.

You can cut & paste the following comment to save keystrokes:
"Bad photo but good try trying to break the record of processing software used :P"

I hope the small size photo can be seen well enough I haven't uploaded a bigger photo to my website yet I wanted feedback from IIS first :)

Lovely image. I really like the foreground in this image ,it really sets off the sky well.

I think that's a great shot Luis. I'd leave the rocks there. My personal preference would be to crop a little more of the rocks from the bottom of the picture so they are not quite as imposing.

You have caught the "emu in the sky" really well. I like that. :thumbsup:

Excellent shot, still scrating my head how you did this but excellent all the same, I agree keep the rock maybe get rid of the lighthouse although I imagine you will have a few coastal wrecks to take photos of in the future if you do :)
