Ngc 5189

Hi All,
I'm hoping I'll have a chance to get more frames including darks to better process this one next weekend but thought the current version was still not too ugly so posting it now and will hopefully be able to improve with more frames soon.

As I said, can be improved but such an improvement already to my old version of this target that i removed the old one from the web site !:lol:

Not keen on crops when they lose resolution like that, but Frank, I love the full-frame mate! Beautiful colours.

Great looking image actually, I like it. This is an amazing looking planetary.

I like them both Frank, The crop certainly shows off the detail in the nebula nicely. I just ran the full frame through CCDStack deconvolution with 20 iterations and it seemed to just tighten up the stars a bit.

That's beautiful. I am enjoying the star colour variations throughout, immensely.

I think you've got the sky just about spot on, too. : )

I think the real problem is that its a bit on the "soft side".
I need a few more Lum to perform a bit more sharpening or deconvolution.

I'll get there eventually

I could not open the image crop. But I have seen the version full. It seems to me very well considering the difficulty degree that has this type of objects.

I just checked it should be there...
might need to hit "refresh" as I dont think that the command is built into to webpage.

I'm personally not 100% happy with the crop. I've had a few goess at redoing it entirely including with some better deconvolution but havent finalised yet. I was secretly hoping for more lights from this weekend....
Should have known better...
Oh well, there's always boomerang construction for those rainy days !
