I'm not going to explain how much the above did cost me, but here is the deal... I'm not looking for huge amount of money but I need to get out from my place an unused set. So, I'm happy to sell the entire package for 1800$, which is not even a third of what I spent.

I don't want split the set and I'm not shipping. Everything can be reviewed and picked up from Kirriblli/Milsons Point (Sydney).

No Stu - the equatorial wedge promotes it to astrophotographic readiness.

Nice setup.

Sorry for my late reply and thanks Chris that have helped on this.
This setup is suitable for astrophotography as the wedge allow you for exposure up to 10 mins with no major issues. Of course I will never recommend it for exposure longer than that without moving the OTA on a different mount type (EQ6 or so...)

Cheers

Cristiano,

Onya, mate. That's one awesome bargain for a complete setup. Don't usually see deals like that.

Yeah I know mate... but look, it's painful for me to see my first babies get covered by dust because I'm not using it. I was lucky enough to got my Mewlon 300, its companion EM-400 and finally no more carry in/out the scope, coz my new place has a perfect "stable" spot... So I don't care about the money as soon the Meade goes in the hands of someone who will love it again :) ... and I'm sure Troy will love it.
