Hi Guys I will put you out of your misery, the Tak set up went to H.;);)
Yep he spent some hours with us, with his mate, ;) they left us to do some photography on the Great Ocean Road. , and that was pretty late at night, but we all know H, he likes those sort of hours
They drove down today to pick up the set-up,  the pics will show how it went, but i know it is going to a good home.

Glad to hear Leon - I bet he's been like a cat on a hot tin roof waiting to pick that up from you, and keeping it secret, LOL. Did he check inside those boxes before he left - you could have filled them with bricks!!!
If his landscape photography is a sign of his talent, he'll be rivalling the best shortly in astrophotography.
Enjoy your trip.

David he is, or nearly has, had an or about, to have a big, a big one,;) ;) :eyepop: :eyepop: yep Orgas.. :D

Leon
did you tell "H" about the "if i ever want it back clause" ?
"H"
if he didn't - the clause goes something like " if the owner should ever decide he wants it back - you are obliged to sell it back to him for half of what you paid for it"
TRUE :D "H" - honest................ would the Owl lie to you ?

ROFL @ David
H has the only section that Leon is missing, so there'll be a complete reversal?
Leon will end up with the goatee while H ends up with the bushy Fu Manchu?
Awesome.

Hello everyone from my iPhone on the magnificent Great Ocean Road.
It was so great to catch up with Leon, meet the lovely Alice, and to pick up that awesome fluorite glass.
I drove down from Wagga with my best mate, Greg.
We slept in the back of his folks 4WD at the carpark of the 12 Apostles. Got up at dawn to photograph the monoliths, but, I wasn't blessed with the best skies. Since then, I've been chasing waterfalls in the Otways.
Heading to Geelong now for the long trip home. Men's Wimbledon final on tonight and a drive back to Canberra for work in the morning.
Buggeredville, population: me!
Thanks all for the very kind words and compliments. I am truly humbled.
As Chris mentioned, I can't wait to first light the STL/FSQ combination.
Dave, at 30, I've already got grey hairs!
Thanks so much, Leon!

H, It couldn't have gone to a better, home, enjoy, I have other avenues to explore, from now on.
Our new rig, and Iveco have both arrived in Australia, and the pulling machine is in Melbourne being remodeled so to speak, and the other half is here in Warrenheip, about 5 minutes from Ballarat also being remodeled to Australian standards.
We should have both at home in the next 4-5 weeks, very exciting :D :D

Congratulations H, you've certainly been on a shopping spree lately! :D
I know you'll put it to good use and I can't wait to see the results
Leon, you were hugging that box so tight in the photo, I was surprised you finally let go!
Glad to hear all is coming together nicely for your pending travels. :)
H, congratulations to you, how exciting! :D
Congrats H, I can't wait to see the first images.
Leon, it must have been hard to part with your baby. I hope you have visitor's rights. :D

Rolf, lol -- I know -- I've been a very bad boy and am now going to be forever poor, haha!
Thanks, Suzy! Congratulations to you on the purchase of your new 10" baby. ;)
Ric, let's hope the weather stays good for new Moon. Two Tak's in one purchase can't be good for local weather. ;)
Let's see what happens, Marc. Any ideas for first light object? Note, it'll have to be in H-alpha, as I'm still waiting on filters.
Mike, hah. No Malin's for me, ever. Remember this comment and see if it can be proven wrong. :)
Cheers, all. I'm a very happy boy. Now, I just have to figure out the Takahashi system charts for all the adapters and what to do with them, lol. :eyepop:
H
Hi H, actually I was wondering about the the sudden build-up of cloud since the weekend.
Cheers
H that is easy mate, just screw the CA-32 to the Tak, and the ring to the camera and it is all you need.
You can put a filter on the wide t mount and just screw it to the CA- 32, then attach the Canon.
Piece of cake for a fellow of your knowledge.;)
Leon
PS is you want the system charts http://www.astronomics.com/main/PDF_Manuals.asp/catalog_name/Astronomics/category_name/PTD5VN9LLG2M9PKPQQ3R3L5TA3/Page/1 go here, or I have them at home ready to post to you

Hi Leon,
Cheers for that -- I was fiddling around with them last night and it all just started to make sense. :)
I managed to figure out how to connect both the DSLR as well as the SBIG.
I found the system charts online for both the 106 and the 60. Cheers!
Thanks, buddy!
