Well hello fellow IISers!
I have been in Shetland (northern Scotland) for the last month and sadly report that the sun has not set once, there is nothing to see in the sky at night other then clouds and birds, and I am here at the wrong time of year to see the Northern Lights. Bummer. I have also been suffering from internet withdrawals due to very limited access - probably a good ting in truth.
All that aside it is an amazingly beautiful place; will post a few pics (form my crappy little camera) when I get home in a while.
Hope everyone there is happy and well and enjoying crisp clear Aussie winter nights, fending off dew and clouds and enjoying a few warming beverages.
Cheers, Kerrie
