Having watched the clouds all day, the sky mostly cleared just prior to sunset... Only to have light cloud roll over through the penumbral stage. It then cleared from almost the beginning of the partial until almost mid-eclipse. Light cloud passed over for the rest of the eclipse until the end of the partial when the Moon popped into a brief clear period... Then the clouds became fair dinkum.
Here is a montage of the better of my images, mid-eclipse shots were marred by cloud so this is the closest to it while the Moon was free of cloud. I didn't bracket any shots, just took images every 5 minutes,

A very nice collectors set there Tony
Oh yes, very nice Tony, think I should hide mine away. ;)
What software did you use for those?

You at least worked to get some detail in the shadow... don't underrate your effort.
I think the main part is hardware... and better hardware is always on the wish list
I used PS CS2 to adjust levels, and a plug-in for it called Topaz Detail to boost the features. PS was used to mount the montage. Thats about it really.
Oh yeah, the hardware is a Vixen 102M Achromatic Refrator (dubbed "The Kaleidoscope" but some ), Modded Canon 450D, mounted on an NEQ6 Pro. Really need to upgrade the glass.
Thanks Trevor, I appreciate your comments.

Ok, just posted a video to YouTube... not as flash as some, but I'm happy enough with the results. What do you think?

Nice one Tony! That would make a nice poster.
I love the youtube sequence and I'm so glad no telescopes were harmed during the filming.:)

Stupid Earth. Occasional getting in the way of a perfect full moon. Has any one ever spared a thought for the ware wolves out there? What are they to do? :P
But seriously. Nice little movie there. Well done.:D
