Would anyone be interested in joining me in an observing night at Cambroom Observatory on Monday 26th December?
The Christmas weekend is clearly out due to family committments, but my trusty AstroLab software tells me that the Moon rises at 12.30am, so a dark sky will prevail until 1am.

How about the following weekend Bill? New moon that weekend. I know what I'd rather be doing on New Years Eve. And it aint got anything to do with fireworks except for the natural kind.
If not NYE then I'll see if I can make it on the 26th.

I've negotiated a pass out for Sunday night so I'll be able to come.
Will a BBQ be on the agenda?

Well what's the verdict folks. Its about 30-40% cloud cover here atm. Been pretty steady at that for the past 2-3 hours.
Wes what time were you thinking of coming up?
