Hi there fellow star gazers :hi:,

I'm new to IceInSpace and its good to see such a high quality site for those of us in Oz.
I am trying to start an astronomy club in the Rockhampton/Central QLD area. I hope to find some eager amateurs in the local area to make contact with. :)

Great another Qlder! Should be a couple of IIS members up your way.

Do you know about the Queensland Astrofest? Starts 7th August, ends
Sunday 15th August, near Kingaroy. See website by same name.

There is a thread here under Star Parties etc, but the website tells all.

Hope to see you there, I booked both Saturdays and last Sunday:thumbsup:
