Shot this 2 nights ago .sky was not great there was a fair bit of light pollution ,this irregular galaxy has a very dim surface even from a dark sky site ,1hr 25 min iso 400 taken with the cannon 40d cooled camera, could have used more data but the fog rolled in.processed in pixinsight.

Quite a faint one. Very well captured. If you push your reds a bit you'll notice the Hii regions popping out. The little coma shape at 5'oclock should be a red emission. Top work.

Nice one Alan, something a bit different from the usual nebs etc. Another convert to Pix. I bought a copy but have yet to put any time into using it or at least learning how.
Well done.

I don't think I have seen an image of this object before. Good on you for taking this on Alan.
