Webcam and Skype help if you don't mind

Hi Guys, I am trying to set up a Webcam on my computer, well actually it is all hooked up and all settings seem to be OK. :)

We are doing this so that when we are away we can still talk to the grandkids and stuff like that and they can actually see us as well, as I intend to get a web cam for all my kids and alices kids so that we can have a converstation at certain times, while on the road.

Well this is all good but i do not know at this time anyone to practice on, as im pretty new to this stuff. :rolleyes:

So if their are one or two out there that have a webcam and do this sort of thing and use Skype would you be so kind as to send me your email address so I can practice on you :P so that I will know what im doing when i set this up on the kids computers.:)

I have one contact being Warren but it didn't go so well yesterdy from my end, but i think I have overcome that problem, and also Warren is no on today, well not that I can see anyway. :shrug:

And if you have some other tips that may assist me pleese let me know, thanks. ;) I need all the help I can get :lol: :lol:

It's a lot quicker to set up than Microsoft Office Professional 2007. I set up 2 computers with Office 2007 yesterday (Saturday).

Sure is fun Jen, I have it working after some help, from here, and have spoken the Gbeal in NZ, and Warren, as well its really cool, and that is coming from and old fella.
