Hi,

I have never really had a go at this object so on Saturday night I tool 18 x 10 minute shots using a Hydrogen Alpha filter 7Nm.

Taken through a William Optics Flt 110 and guided with PHD and stacked using DSS and processed in Photoshop CS3. Camera was a QHY-9 at
-20c. Darks applied but I have not done flats as I am struggling using my light box that I can not turn down and I don't really understand how to use EZCAP(program that came with the camera). Weather permitting I will have a crack at some colour ones of this tonight.

Feedback welcome.

Nice one. Looks like it could take a bit of sharpening.

Is this FLT110 the TEC oiled triplet lens?

Hi Greg,

The lens says designed by TMB and has some coating on it.

Sharpened using unsharped mask. Thanks for the advice. I was happy with the first but can definately see the benefits in the second.

That looks good. That'd be a high quality lens then. Nice.

Greg.
