If they are not digital SLRs, you can probably toss the bodies. List the lenses and give good detail on the condition of the glass.

Hi Gerald.
Just a suggestion.
Call in to your local newsagent a have a look at a copy
of the "photographic Trader". It is yellow in color so you cannot
miss it in the magazine racks.
Have a look in there and there may be similar bodies and lenses for sale that would give you a good idea of prices etc..
You could either list them in the Trader for sale or list them here.
You never know who is out there chasing this gear.
It depends on what these bodies and lenses are. They maybe are not worth a lot or if they are a bit unusual, they may be collectors items down the line..
What model and lenses are they Gerald..
I hope this helps.. :)

Definately do not "toss" the bodies. There will be enthusiasts who will be interested in buying them from you. Despite what people think in this digital age, the film medium is still being used.
No don't toss the bodies.
As Stephen has mentioned, film is not dead.
The various camera swap-meets around the country are growing and there is little digital equipment at them.
Photographic Trader lists the various swap meets if you want to try selling there.

Hi Gerald, I'd be interested in buying at least one of those camera bodies/lens suites from you, is there a visible model number on the bodies?

Gerald, I sold a Minolta film SLR with Lens on eBay, I got a lot more for it than I expected.

Unfortunatly these are'nt likely to be worth a great deal,Gerald.
I had a couple of lenses, the junk shop gave me $35 for the shoe box of them.Hardly woth the effort walking fron the car to take them in!
My wife has a co,plete Minolta kit in good order, with some good lenses from their day,I think it would be easier to put them in the bin to get rid of them, than the bother of a few dollars,

Gerald,
As per reply no. 3 on this thread,
Can you tell me the model numbers and lens brands and sizes you have?
I work in a Camera House Store and I can tell you exactly what they are worth to sell... as we deal in second hand gear.
Peter. :)
