I had a go at reprocessing data of the Lagoon taken on the 9th may
happier with the colour and detail but what to do about the star halo's
idea's please
tried a star layer but didn't seen to work that well

You need "Loreal"

You need to convert the image to .bmp to be able to open it in the program.

Very nice Trevor, Deep rich colour I like it. Halo's are a real pain. I don't know how to fix them.

After some searching I found a routine that seems to work at least in part that was written a while ago

Not sure what benefit that new routine has , it appears to have flattened and killed the data you had.
Much prefer image1. Very nice, much better, looks great.
