Finally a clear night last night. It was VERY dewy though so used the electric blanket/dew heater on the 10 inch scope.
First object is the Antennae Galaxies
11x10 mins ISO 200. Larger version here (http://d1355990.i49.quadrahosting.com.au/Scott/antannae11.10minsISO200unfmod350d10 inch10deg_filtered.jpg)
2nd is the Triffid nebula
7x10 mins ISO 200. Larger version here (http://d1355990.i49.quadrahosting.com.au/Scott/triffid8x10minsiso200unfmod350d10in ch10degsmst_filtered.jpg)
Both images with Hutech modded 350D with clear glass over sensor, MPCC coma corrector. 10 inch f5.6 newtonian. No filters so as to allow infra red light through. I was curious to see what effect that would have on the Triffid neb, it seems to show a little of the faint dust in the background. Guiding isnt as good on the Triffid shot.
