Ok had to lug in all the Christmas gear for the "Queen" and help set the tree up , to make it worth it thought i would showcase my torturous effort ....what do you think, scrubs up all right :) {hope the pressies match :P } anyone else care to show :)
PS: please excuse the dreadful paint job on the wall behind , my wife watches to many DIY shows....embarrassment :P
lol, we are skipping the tree this year...
I hear the new trend is upside-down trees! :confuse3:

Nice tree and nice paint job. Been there and done that with the tree, our youngest is nearly 18 and says that we always argue about the decoration placment on the tree  so we don't worry it any more.

Nice job... We're empty nesters and still have the tree every year. It's assembled waiting for HRH Liz to decorate, I just lend a hand with technical services (lights) it's amazing how empty the room looks when the tree's taken down.....:xmas:

Very decorative, I like the large star on top. My star is an old tinsel star that looks like it is falling apart. It was my Grand mothers and was bought in the 50's. It goes on all my trees each year and holds some sentimental stuff.
Your tree is very good though, nicely balanced and I am sure the "Queen" must be very happy with you.

:) The Queen wanted that Angel at the bottom of the tree in place of the Star , that was one concession i wasnt allowing :P made a trip to bunnings and im going to paint the room while she is at work HEHEHEHEHE
I like both the tree and the paint job beren.
:)
