Used three JPG images of Hiro's from here to cobble together a HDR.

Note how much very faint reflection nebulae are quite clear at the same time as the Bok globules.

Now I think I know how to process data maybe it is time to get data from dark sky sites.

That's a load of chicken! :lol: NGC3576 stands out as well in the corner and the various blue clusters are nicely resolved. Good to see everything in one screen in relation to each other. The highres is superb as per usual. :thumbsup:

appreciation for field off view like this should be given - simply awesome and shows some future targets to aquire

bert.. come to lmdss at heathcote.. we've got 240v power, showers, bunk beds, dark skies.. what more could you want!?

they'll be a few of us there for a few nights over the june new moon (long weekend) weather permitting..

Beautiful image Bert. I like the subtle change in your processing on this one. The star background is brighter and more vibrant.

I agree its time to get some nice dark skies. The difference in the quality of the data is amazing.
