Hi All,

Well I suppose first light for my Flea3 just had to be Saturn.

The seeing was pretty ordinary with lots of cloud scudding through and the wind from a really strange direction for out here, the South East.

Only got two RGB's and have only processed one so far.

This RGB is 16 bit data at 30 fps for all channels.
The storm is visible as it rotates into view from the West.

Still working out how to use this camera, Bird has been a great help, it was a massive plus for his visit to coincide with the arrival of my camera.

Thanks for looking
Regards
Trevor.

That's a very nice image Trevor. I tried Saturn a few nights ago and could only manage 15fps with the DMK and then only had the histogram 60-70% filled with maximum gain. Were you able to use 30fps with the DMK on Saturn?

Just trying to gauge how much more sensitive the Flea3 is.

All the best.

Thanks very much Steffen.

Thanks Michaell, certainly has the potential for to produce very high res images.

Thanks Lester, for Saturn with this camera I am capturing all 3 channels at 30 fps with max gain for blue to bring up the histo.
There is a thread on the sensitivity of this camera by Bird on the Equipment discussion forum.

Thanks Clayton.
