The last Cambroon Weekend though not the best for observing or imaging was a success never the less with a grand total of 24 attendies over the 2 days:)
I hope the next one which is on the weekend of the New Moon, Friday the 11th till Sunday 13th June will be even better on both accounts.

I didn't realise it is a long weekend this one coming:) so if anyone wants to stay the Sunday night they are :welcome:
You Know that Sunday Nights are always the best night's of the weekend for observing:lol::lol::lol:

Hey Ron, is that Obi road opened up yet? I'm keen but dont feel like taking the long way round.

G_day Dennis, You turn Right at Hunsley Road for about 6kms detour, then back on the Obi Kenilworth again.
Good Graded Dirt Road for Standard cars.
It will be good to catch up with you again:thumbsup:

Unfortunately we're going away for the long weekend :(
(hmmm... Wait, I'm going on holiday, so maybe that should be a smiley face :)... but then, I really want to go to Cambroon, so... :( I dunno :shrug:)
Anyway, I'll be thinking about you guys (and gals)... wishing you clear skies :thumbsup:

A small but happy group had a great Dark Sky at Cambroon:)

Paul (1 ponders) no gear but was a welcome assistance to phil a new member of iceinspace with his two very inquisitive daughters Tiara&Georgia, as Jennette will testify;) Collin and his 12" scope,Maureen, 10"scope and Peter, Anthony John.and Glen a friend from quite a while back dropped in:)
I put the small attendance down to the long weekend:shrug:
Weather was Cold 3.5DegC:cold: but Crystal clear till 01:30 but everyone had left by 23:45, having had a great nights observing with some good company:thumbsup:

Yes, the girls had a great time didn't they. Welcoming everyone as they arrived.:) And inquisitive too. Helping me while I set up and asking all the right questions.
It was an enjoyable night. Cold though, but I guess it's good practice for Astrofest.
I've posted the image I took of M8 in the Deep Space forum.
