Hello all
I see that there are some very fine images being posted in IIS recently and it certainly looks as if the various star parties have been very productive.

As for myself - starved of data unfortunately, so I am very certain that this is my first ever repro - plus I need some hi-res practice as that is the subject of my talk at AIC 2010.

Anyway, here 'tis:

Actually, this was reprocessed to try a few new techniques on magenta star removal and other enhancements. In fact, I never expected to pick out the surrounding dust in this NB data.

This SHO pallette consists of 3 hours each SII/HA/OIII.

Hope you like it and thanks for looking.

it is certainly full of detail and a layered look, fancy you taking lessions from Mike Sidionio and repro'ing ;)=

be nice to see slightly larger, like on the big screen at the conference!!

Thanks David
I have posted a link to a larger image.

I am only using Flickr because I have rebuilt my PC and cant find my CD with Frontpage on in order to post it to my own website :mad2:

Cheers

I have to say that I've always found narrow band not suited for M20. Because the main attraction is the blue vs. red side of the neb but after looking at this shot, you've changed my mind Martin. It's just beautiful. Maybe because you've got enough Sii red and Oiii blue in the pic. Top shot.

Very very nice Martin. I never thought I would enjoy NB images but this is no longer the case. The detail and highlights from NB surpase the often ghastly colours. This is a great example of a well composed image showing great detail and a lovely 3D effect.

Thanks for posting.

Excellent Martin. M20 is a tough narrowband target. Well done.

Martin,

That's magnificent! I am really taken aback by just how smooth the final composition is -- simply wonderful.
