good on ya Trevor, even out there on a full moon  I was out in the obs doing some stuff last night, prep for a pluto occultation, but no pretty picture sto show for it :( Nice clear and cold night. 5 degrees when I went to bed.

Nice image Trevor. Rather unusual framing. I think I like the first one, the colour just looks better to me. The image could probably improve with a little selective sharpening but only a little.
No imaging here. To go into the obs at the moment would require a safety belt to stop being blown out the hole in the roof.
Well done.

Thanks Roger I had 21 frames but had to dump 4 due to dew just as I started imaging had to stop and connect up the heater ring the first 4 frames didn't line up as well, there was plenty of moisture in the air last night.
Doug, Marc and Dr Paul we've had rain on and off for the last week and over the new moon it was cloudy then with the wife breaking her arm it's the first time I've had to image since the 9th May so I chose Eta as it would be nice and bright even under the full moon
Doug might have to try some selective shapening,
Thanks all

Nice pictures Trevor. I like the first marginally but both are well done.
Solid imaging Trevor. I prefer the first image from a colour balance perspective, but this really needs to have flats applied to do it justice. Thanks for sharing.
