Another adapter

I am looking for an adapter to step down from a 2.158 inch thread to a 2 inch thread.

My filter wheel has a nosepiece that is too long for my MPCC. I can screw a small spacer into the accessory plate to which the nosepiece attachs - but it is the SBIG standard STL fitting - 2.158 inch. Why? :shrug:I haven't the foggiest.

Any suggestions on where I can buy a ready made adapter?

I've sent an email off to Precision Parts in the US - but it would be easier if there were a ready made adapter.

Just to be clear - you want to mount a MPCC on your filter wheel which is in turn attached to your ST8300, right? What filter wheel is it?

You could ask Peter Tan and see if he can do it for you.
