View Full Version here: : last attempt at mars with the lpi
Though i'd try my new x3 barlow on mars with the lpi. I used a low gain and offset and played with the wp and dp settings . on screen the image was pink and had a colour effect on both sides similar to chromatic abberation in a refractor. The RGB filter in registax seemed to remove this totally on processing and one of the resultant images processed further in astra image is shown below. I haven't tried these extreme settings on the li but they seem to work.

cool
loads of detail there. Impressive given its rapidly decreasing size.
well done!

Nice Shot with plenty of detail and a nice natural look - rivalling some of Asi's best through the 6in acro.
Well Done :)

Cool! Someone else using a 150mm refractor!
Nice shot. I tried for mars last night but it was just a boiling mess.
